Ever wondered what happens in the kitchen of a real bakery? Not a “fakery” like the area tucked into the corner of your local chain supermarket, but an actual, made-from-scratch bakery where people (not machines) do most of the hard work. On Saturday, June 27th, 2015, Gracious Bakery offers an opportunity to go behind the kitchen door as part of the nationwide “Bakery Open House” event sponsored by members of the Breadbakers’ Guild of America. Gracious produces a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items.
Tours of Gracious’ new commissary bakery, located at 7220 Earhart Blvd, will be given every half hour from 7:30 am to 11 am, but you MUST reserve a spot by 6/25 (Thursday); email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve.
