SFA cookbook release party this Saturday

The Garden District Book Shop (2727 Prytania Street, at the corner of Washington Avenue) will host a release party for the new Southern Foodways Alliance Community Cookbook this Saturday, October 16th, at 1 pm.

Sara Roahen, the cookbook’s editor, along with recipe contributors Liz Williams (of the Southern Food & Beverage Museum), Peter Patout, Dana Logsden (of the late, lamented La Spiga bakery), and Pam & Duke Eversmeyer–as well as yours truly–will be on hand to chat about the SFA’s newest publication, and refreshments from recipes in the book will be served.

Join us this weekend…

  1. Damn it! I really want to come down, but I think I’m going to be too busy (we’re leaving for Germany on Sun. and I have a gajillion things to do on Saturday). I’m really sad about that.
