Eat a Sno-Bliz and help the environment

Help Hansen’s Sno-Bliz (corner of Tchoupitoulas & Bordeaux St, New Orleans, LA) support the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP):  buy a $5, 16-ounce Bliz in a limited-edition, biodegradable cup designed by artist Caesar Meadows.  Try it in one of three new coastally inspired flavors, including Brown Pelican (root beer cream), Swampitoulas (green vanilla), or LimeAde (tart lime).  BTNEP promotes environmental awareness, stewardship, and restoration of the huge swath of southeast Louisiana coastal and interior marshes west of the Mississippi River and east of the Atchafalaya River (see map here).  Home to more than 602,000 people, the region is incredibly fertile & biodiverse, yet it is under constant threat due to coastal erosion, subsidence, and negative human impacts (like canal-dredging, wetlands reclamation,  and uh…yeah…oil spills).

Why not eat a snowball with a purpose?
