Mark your calendar:  the Second Annual Boudin Cookoff takes place Saturday, October 17th from 10 am to 4 pm in Lafayette’s Sans Souci park.  Competitors will go link-to-link in three categories:  traditional, specialty, and unlinked.  The event benefits the Preservation Alliance of Lafayette. 

Last year’s event attracted 16 entrants, and organizers expect at least 20 competitors this year.  Interested in competing?  Visit the Boudin Cookoff website. 

No culinary talent?  Well, cher, you can compete in the boudin-throwing contest….see, it sounds fun, but doesn’t that waste a whole lotta boudin?
