The Gulf Coast Seafood Coalition named this blog to its “Top 100 Seafood Blogs”–one of just seven blogs representing Louisiana.
Check out the full list of seafood-friendly blogs here.
Lots of great content within the 100 finalists; some of my favorite bloggers from around the country are on that list, like David Leite/Leite’s Culinaria.
Only one glaring omission: Hank Shaw of Hunter Angler Gardener Cook, a blog well worth your time.
Congrats. You got a really cool site. Always check it regularly. I use gulf seafood whenever I can get it. No better shrimp than gulf.
No better crabs than gulf crabs, either! Those coldwater crabs are “sweet”, but give me funky-earthy-delicious any day over a one-dimensional “sweet”. Thanks.
Wonderful news! I am so glad! But I confess– I am all about the bread and other things. Although I am a native New Orleanian, I am allergic to shellfish and dislike fish. So sad.
Well deserved, and you are in exalted company!
Nice and well deserved!
Congratulations! Glad to join the list with you as a Florida blogger and writer. Am a big fan of Hank Shaw as well! Still time… 50 left!
Thanks…so glad that Hank Shaw rec’d a James Beard award this year…a well-deserved honor.
