South Louisiana’s weather has hit the sweet spot of early spring: warm enough for bare feet, but still too cool & dry for rampant mosquitos. I celebrated the arrival of spring with breakfast on the patio this morning: a bacon sandwich on homemade pane siciliano (semolina bread with sesame seeds); fresh, local strawberries; and a cappucino made with Orleans Coffee Exchange’s GTO Free Trade organic espresso roast.
Just think: it’s still snowing in some parts of the upper Midwest!
