Hungry in the South

Tickets are now on sale for the Southern Food and Beverage Museum’s third annual symposium, “Hungry in the South”, set for Saturday, September 17th, 2011.  (See a detailed schedule & get tickets here.)

This year’s topics include restaurant criticism in New Orleans, hunger during the Great Depression, the African American agricultural legacy in the South, the foods of Appalachia & West Virginia, and much more.  Attendance is $75 per person.

Also available is a continuing legal education course focusing on “Eating and the Law”.  The daylong course (Friday, September 16, 2011) provides 7 hours of CLE credit, including 1.5 hours of ethics.
