Hotel breakfasts rock.  Pictured is the smoked salmon at the  Hay Adams Hotel in DC….what a nice change of pace from my usual weekday combination, a Kashi TLC bar and a macchiato.

[Clarification: that’s a real macchiato, ie, an espresso with a tiny dollop of steamed milk, and not one of those Starbuckian abominations sullying coffee’s good name.]
