The fried Oreo:  possibly the scariest food known to man?

    • The (usually crisp) cookie part of the Oreo softened under the batter, resulting in a texture more like cake, and the cream filling was a little pudding-y from the fryer’s heat. It wasn’t terrible, but I didn’t exactly want to eat more than one.
