I walked into my office this morning to discover this sweet treat on my desk: a cherry turnover from Maple Street Patisserie (7638 Maple Street, New Orleans, LA, 504.247.7912). It’s so nice to have generous co-workers.
Now I have to decide whether to eat it now, or save it for lunch. Ah, decisions….maybe I’ll eat half now and save the other half for later.

Swung by Maple Street Patisserie on Sunday morning. Enjoyed everything, very good croissants, but I wish their baguette’s crust was more substantial. Good to have around though.
I haven’t sampled the baguette, but I’m a fan of the turnovers, cinnamon rolls, and the little chocolate pecan tarts.
