Broccoli, peppers, lettuces, cilantro, dill, and tarragon soak up the winter rainfall in my garden (almost 11 inches in 3.5 days two weeks ago).  The hot peppers (cayenne, jalapeno, hot hungarian) seem to be overwintering just fine, but the last leaf fell off the bell pepper a few days ago.  Seven or eight peppers still hang on; I’ll pick them in the next few days.
