NEW FDA oyster regulations: no unsterilized oysters from April through October

The Food & Drug Administration will soon require post-harvest sterilization for ALL oysters harvested from April through October.  No, not just for oysters served as raw, but for every oyster harvested….even those fried, char-broiled, or otherwise cooked before eating.  Read more about it in the Times-Picayune.

UPDATE:  Sign an online petition in support of raw (non-sterilized) oysters…..
