Fall harvest

Scenes from my backyard;   gardening in the sub-tropics is a bountiful enterprise, especially in the fall.  From the top left to right:  mint in bloom, unripe LSU Purple figs, makrut (kaffir lime) fruit & key limes, satsuma, bird-pecked meyer lemons, a Louisiana Sweet orange, tumeric in bloom, cayenne peppers, jalapeno peppers, and a bee visiting the basil flowers.
