I have always wanted to try bacon on my BGE. Looks great. Any suggestions?
Either use indirect heat (like the raised grid & drip pan in the photo), or damp the heat down to around 350 and cook it with the lid open, flipping frequently (using long-handled tongs) as it begins to brown. Yes, I know: hardcore BGE freaks think “if you’re looking, you’re not cooking,” and insist you should never use a BGE with the lid open. BUT bacon can burn in an instant. Cooking bacon takes all of 5-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
