Head to Iowa, LA for the Iowa Rabbit Festival’s rabbit cookoff on March 20-22, 2009, where you can compete in the main dish or appetizer categories. Dishes will be judged on 1)percentage of rabbit, 2)creativity, 3)texture, and 4)seasoning. What better way to celebrate spring than by eating a mess of Easter bunnies?

Nice gig! Were the entries really diverse, or was it “50 variations on rabbit sauce piquante”?
There were a few picantes but a lot of diversity (grilled, fried, jambalaya, stuffed, gumbo etc)
