No, it doesn’t contain pork. 8 oounces of soymilk, one or two ounces of CoolBrew coffee concentrate, original flavor (coffee & chicory); pour over ice and drink. 100 calories, 4 grams of fat, a whopping 7 grams of protein; that’s more protein and less fat than a hard-boiled egg. And the cost is a fraction of a coffeeshop soy latte.
A nice recycling bonus: the empty CoolBrew bottle makes a perfect Mardi Gras parade route flask….the handy squeeze/measure package allows for portion control, too.
I’ve been wondering whether CoolBrew is any good. I like your idea, but I’d probably need to augment it with an orange or something.
Of the locally available coffee concentrates, I think CoolBrew is the best–but I stick to the coffee & chicory original flavor. No flavored coffees for me, thanks….
What is all this nonsense about portion control and Mardi Gras?
I was thinking more about portion control for the mooching friends & acquaintances you inevitably encounter along the parade route!
