The latest trend in groom’s cakes:  the red velvet nutria.  A Thibodaux groom, inspired by the red velvet armadillo in “Steel Magnolias,” decided that his cake should take the form of a nutria.  A baker in Gramercy happily accomodated his wishes.  Somebody call the Ace of Cakes….
