Anh “Joseph” Cao defeated indicted incumbent William Jefferson yesterday in a race for Louisiana’s 1st Congressional district seat.  We can only hope that the first Vietnamese-American elected to Congress will inspire the addition of pho to the House Dining Rooms menu.
