Hog cracklings–so good, Adam’s Fruit Market had to list ’em twice on the rotating selection of signs showcasing their seasonal merchandise. Note the conspicuous lack of signs for any produce! Despite this, Adam’s sells quite a bit of locally grown flora to complement the fauna. Better still is an interesting collection of mounted/stuffed creatures arranged in tableaux…a group of crawfish boiling a person, several frogs playing in a band. All that, and turtle meat, too!

hello Mr Adams
Do you sell Boudin also, and exactly where
are you located. I am from Marksville, and just love My cracklings…but I only get them
once a year. I live In Bridge City, right outside Avondale La and an looking for a closer place to Get Some
Hi Phil–I’m not Mr. Adams, but I know that Adams’ Fruit Market just north of Lockport, south of Raceland on LA 1, on the bayouside DEFINITELY sells cracklings. Closer to you in Bridge City, you might find cracklings on Saturday mornings at the Gretna Farmer’s Market on Huey P. Long Avenue in old Gretna, or on Saturday mornings at the German Coast Farmer’s Market in Destrehan at Ormond Plantation.
