A new favorite for recycling

A packaging change has made Sweet Leaf Teas’ glass bottles my new favorite thing to reuse:  the words “HOMEMADE GOODNESS” embossed in glass, right on the bottles’ shoulders.  While it is just marketing copy to the folks at Sweet Leaf, I’ll re-fill the bottles with stuff that lives up to the hype.

Reusing the bottles makes me feel a tiny bit better about paying $1.50 for what is essentially sugar water.  At 8 ounces, the tall, slender, wide-mouth bottles are perfect for homemade vinegar, limoncello, vinagrettes, dressings, and marinades.
